TROUBLESOME INSECTS
The Utena Army vs. Genestealer Cult, perhaps
After a particularly spectacular battle, the Ohtori duelling arena is blown apart and pieces of it are scattered around the city.
Determined to repair the damage, Utena and Anthy lead a small force of students into dangerous territory to recover a lonely lost car...
But was that really such a good idea?
All signs point to "no"
Utena isn't the only one interested in the fascinating red sportscar "relic". The natives aren't giving it up without a fight
Shocked by the sudden arrival of Ohtori's field trip, the local defence forces actually side with an insidious Genestealer Cult, forming a completely illegal but hilarious army to resist all forays into their territory
And they've brought a Deathstrike Missle Launcher and Basilisk with them...
Unprepared for a full scale war, Ohtori's forces are still far below full strength. With several students still taking their sweet time being transformed into tanks (we're looking at YOU Kozue!), there's only time to deploy Shiori, Utena-driven-by-movie-Anthy and the Kanae "Memorial" Rhino!
Saionji's and Miki's fangirls waste no time seizing a defensive objective, hiding from the deadly Basilisk's aim while praying to Dios that the Deathstrike doesn't see them
Shiori and Kanae lead on while Utena stays back to spam "miracles" from long range...
In a rare example of coorperation, Nanami and Anthy carefully hop their way into battle using their jetpacks
Behind Nanami's squad, the "Rose Bride" Penitent Engine and Anthy's bedraggled fanatics start tracing a path
On the opposite corner of the battlefield, Cult forces surge forwards, trucks loaded with evil Genestealer Hybrids
Completely wasting the advantage of moving first, Nanami Does It Wrong and drops her squad into melee combat with alien killing machines (ooooooh hoo hoo hoo hoo hooEEEEEK!)
Being both immortal and in multiple places at once, Anthy tries to help Nanami while the Repentia Sisters look on bemused
The barefoot girl squares off against the Cult's secret weapon - a Tyranid Carnifex. It doesn't go well for the Ohtori forces
The Cult Predator tank gets some good hits in on Shiori and Kanae, then is blown to bits by Utena...for friendship...?
The Genestealer's allies get lost in the maze-like bottleneck of the east bunker, but at least claim it as an objective
A truck full of Hybrids is Melta-ed to death by Squad Miki, while Saionji's girls get pummelled by the Basilisk from afar
The Ohtori army wedges vehicles up close, seriously narrowing the field of battle
Anthy is cut down by the nasty Genestealers, but promptly vanishes, leaving only her clothes behind (don't worry, she'll be back). Nanami and her remaining followers run for it, leaving Anthy's angry followers next in line
Shiori is forcibly "parked" against the hill from persistent enemy fire, so out jumps Squad Juri and Utena! Meanwhile, Touga's fangirls deploy from Kanae, ready to blast the Cultists
Nanami and friends have flashbacks to the curried high trip, running for their lives away from the Carnifex!
Consummate professionals, Squad Touga form a defensive line and tear the oncoming local forces apart
A depleted Squad Miki holds the short line against the Cultists, while Squad Saionji gets surprised by more Hybrids coming around the forest
The battle hangs on a thread, while the Deathstrike Missle Launcher counts down...
GOUGAI! Akio once again shows himself to be a terrible person, teleporting his illegal Terminator Squad in on top of the Missle Launcher, turning the tide of battle!
On the other side of the skirmish, Anthy fails to return to life, leaving her Repentia locked in a losing battle...
While Juri and Wakaba line up their ranged weaponry, ready to purge the last Genestealers if they win the melee
Utena and Squad Togua dominate the centre, wiping out the evil fanatics
While Akio, having blown up the Deathstrike Launcher, turns his attention to the Cult leader - a bloated Genestealer Patriarch
Saionji and Miki's girls don't appreciate being assaulted (well maybe Saionji's do...)
Nanami hides behind Utena-Tank-driven-by-movie-Anthy, which unleashes the power to revolutionise a Carnifex
With their Repentia enemies wiped out, the Genestealers charge Juri, with Nanami jumping in behind to watch (or help?)
The graceful and ruthless Juri is unimpressed...
After a lucky hit blows up Kanae, Utena and Squad Touga find room to advance, holding the precious sportscar objective
Fed up with eternal Basilisk bombardment, Squad Saionji run for the hills
Akio wheels around to mop up the few remaining Hybrids
Juri feels bored, having defeated everything on her side of the battlefield
Squad Saionji stops to exchange diaries with movie Anthy
Squad Touga and Utena wrap up the battle, engaging the Cult's human ringleader
Akio wanders over to show the annoying Basilisk The End Of the World...
...while everyone else chases off the last Genestealers, winning the game and capturing the Cult leader
The car is safetly back in Ohtori hands
Time to get back to school and find out where Anthy vanished to...Victory for Ohtori!
